My New Blogging Phx-ation

May 27th, 2010

Starting today, I have another blogging gig. Bill Wyman has asked me to join the PHXated team. Bill is a long time journalist, with a resume that includes SF Weekly, Chicago Reader, salon.com and National Public Radio. His work has also appeared in places like the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal.

The site is intended to keep readers up to date on what is going on in the often wacky world of Phoenix (and Arizona) politics, culture and media.

It an honor to join Bill and his team. I look forward to enhancing my skills and exposure as a writer and blogger. Bill has given me the green light to be as opinionated and controversial as I want on the site. For those of you who know me and the strength of my convictions, you know this is an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up. I will aim to write at least one opinion piece a week, which I will cross-post to this site. In addition, I will be posting several quick items on Phoenix news, events and issues, particularly those items with an urban slant.

My first opinion piece is posted here.
