Vancouver Urbanists Meetup—September 11th

September 7th, 2011

It’s time once again for the monthly Vancouver Urbanists Meetup! Come out and join me and  your fellow urbanists on Sunday (September 11th) from 3-5pm, for a few beers and a lively discussion about urbanism in Vancouver, and cities in general.

This month I’m taking it out of downtown to one of Vancouver’s most popular urban haunts— Commercial Drive.

We’ll be meeting at St. Augustine’s (2360 Commercial Dr). St. Augustine’s is “a casual spot on The Drive with 40 taps — many from locally sourced micro-breweries (would you expect any less from a place named after the patron saint of beer?).” They also offer a solid choice of pub fare, a BC wine list and an interesting cocktail menu.

For transit fans, St. Augustine’s is conveniently located near Broadway, and the intersection of the Expo Line, Millenium Line and the 99. Rooftop parking is also available (enter off 7th ave).

Feel free to drop in when you can. Give me a call or text at 604-992-4197 if you have any questions or are running late.

You can RSVP on Eventbrite, Facebook, or leave a comment letting me know if you’ll be coming.
